Junior Achievement's Volunteer Opportunities and Partnerships

I am starting my 8th year with Junior Achievement of South Central PA. I facilitated our Middle and High School Programs for 5 years. For the last 3 years I have been involved in Volunteer Recruitment and Business Development. I am now our Community Development Manager where I am excited to have the opportunity to expand JA's reach and presence by working with local rotaries and chambers.

Lisa grew up in the Philadelphia suburbs and attended the University of Delaware where she got a BA in Communications and then the University of Pennsylvania where she got a Master’s in Communications. Prior to starting a family, she was a manager for a Temporary Service in Towson MD and then a Pharmaceutic Rep with a territory throughout Baltimore and Maryland.

She moved to York 22 years ago with her husband and 2 daughters. While raising her girls, she substitute taught at Central York School District for 10 years. She also served on various school committees and was the volunteer coordinator for the York YMCA Swim Team.

In 2015 she joined Junior Achievement of South Central PA where she facilitated their Middle and High School Programs for 5 years. For the last 3 years she was involved in Volunteer Recruitment and Business Development. This summer she became their Community Development Manager where she is excited to have the opportunity to expand JA's reach and presence by working with local rotaries and chambers. She is a member of the York-North Rotary Club
