The Hanover Rotary Club is sponsoring 8 outstanding students to attend this year's Rotary Youth Leadership program - RYLA - at Messiah College Sunday, June 11 thru Thursday, June 14 .  Rotary District 7390 operates the camp to enhance the leadership awareness and skills of promising High School students.

The students stay 4 nights and 5 days on the campus of Messiah College with over 150 peers from High Schools within District 7390.  For many this will be their first experience visiting a College campus overnight without their parents.
All students selected are between their Junior and senior years in H.S. and have demonstrated leadership skills within their respective high schools excelling in academics, music, athletics, student government, journalism, and a variety of student Clubs.
During the course of the week, the students will identify their own particular leadership style, learn ways to enhance their leadership skills, explore various occupations/ professions, and participate with peers in numerous skill-building activities.
Their experience will culminate with a family dinner and student-led talent program.  Along with a host of new friends, students will return home with a better understanding of who they are as leaders and with ways to incorporate those skills into everyday life.
