You may know that one of our local service projects involves repairing and painting benches in the Hanover Area.  The first part of this project is complete and you can see the benches in the south east corner of the square in Hanover.
Rotarian Richard Ellenberger reports:
Students from Emory H. Markle Intermediate School (South Western) recently assisted the Rotary Club of Hanover with the refurbishing of the Rotary themed benches in the downtown Hanover corridor.  The students, led by Mrs. Jana Bonds and Mr. Thomas Nikolaus, worked in teams to provide necessary repairs along with a fresh coat of paint. We appreciate the hard work of these students, who through this project, embodied the Rotary Motto; “Service Above Self.”

There will be more to come on this project.  (Rotarian Kelly Rebert's son is in the photo.  Can you find him?)
