Our members find signs of Rotary while traveling :
This from Ralph and Judy Jodice while visiting family in Cary, NC -

Was in Cary NC the last 4 days visiting our granddaughters, oh and our son and daughter in law too. While on a walk in their downtown yesterday saw this clock donated by their Rotary Club back in 1984. Pic #2 is me with our 5 year old granddaughter, Ellie...a Rotarian in training!

Something similar could be an idea for us.

Subject: Redwoods Rotary Memorial Grove

Judy and I rode our tandem in the Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park today in northern CA just south of Klamath, CA. Many of the Redwood Groves have names...am guessing they are sponsored in some way. Well, we stopped so Judy could take a picture at the Rotary Memorial Grove.

So President Greg...does this count as attendance at a meeting?

The giant redwoods here are spectacular. Hope you are all doing well.

While traveling in Western Canada this summer we happened on the small community of Kamloops.  They have a beautiful community park along the river with lawn bowling, tennis courts, basketball courts, picnic areas, and playground equipment. Activities for all ages!  On a beautiful summer evening we strolled through the park and listened to a wonderful country band perform in the pavilion.  Note what entity provided the pavilion clearly labeled for all to see.

And this one most recently from Ralph and his wife Judy's trip to Antarctica!!!

Hi Greg...we're in FT Lauderdale airport for the final leg of our journey back home.

This is a pic of 3 Rotarians from a few nights ago aboard our ship while still in Antartica waters.

From L-R it is; Mike Cross from the Carlisle club, Joe Stein from Orlando, the ship's Captain (not a Rotarian) and me. We think we deserve credit for having a Rotary meeting.

It was great fun to connect with them, and Mike and his wife will attend our open house next weekend.

I'll tell this Rotary story on Tuesday. See you Tuesday morning at the board meeting.

Have a good weekend!

Ralph
