ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Halloween In The Park raised $30,000 for Friends of Codorus.  Thank you to all Rotarians who volunteered to help.
- Junior Achievement volunteers, Bob Miller, Dale Brubaker and Terry Gingrow worked at Spring Grove H.S. last Tuesday, despite a slight delay due to a gas leak at the school.
- New Hope ministries received a Rotary Grant of $5000, $2500 from our Club and a match of $2500 from Rotary District.  The Grant provided a floor scale and packing baskets.  A service aspect will also be forthcoming as a requirement of the grant which will require volunteers from the Club to distribute food.
 
INDUCTION
Our newest member, Tara Kauffman, was inducted today by President Craig.  Tara was sponsored by MaryBeth Hockenberry.  Tara is Financial Development Director at the YMCA.  Welcome Tara!
 
PROGRAM
- Terry Gingrow presented Terry’s Tall Tales.  Things we learned about Terry include : born in 1947 at Hanover Hospital; graduated from Delone in 1965; attended York Jr College; and York Business School In Baltimore; worked at Gerard Bank in Phila where he witnessed a bank robbery; worked at several banks in York and Hanover; involved in an interesting story with the Joe Bonanno mafioso family; avid golfer; appeared on tv on the Family feud show; been involved in Rotary for 30 yrs; now retired and enjoys traveling with his wife.  Someone named Warren received a bottle of wine for correctly guessing a question from Terry's talk.
