Jess Socrates - Operation Braveheart - 138 people have received heart operations so far.  RI sent inspectors and they sufficiently impressed to increase funding.  Paul Berg has volunteered to go to the Philippines to visit the project!
Ways & Means Committee will meet next Tuesday at 11:30 to discuss fundraising ideas.

Legislative Update- Pa State Rep Kate Klunk shared the Bills that she has been working on including:Election Code Reform to resolve the issues we recently experienced at the polls; Sexual Harassment Bill to eliminate Non-Disclosure Statements;  Regulatory Reform intending to reduce unnecessary regulations and make existing regs more efficient;  Farmland Preservation Bill to assist and encourage Pa Agriculture;  Workforce Development Program to prepare workers for local industries; Mainstreet Hanover given 1.4 million to renovate the Montgomery Ward  bldg.
