To All Hanover Rotarians -
Things in our Country, State, and community continue to open up!!!  Consequently, the Board has determined that Rotary will return to pre-covid operation beginning Tuesday, July 6, 2021.  This means that Rotary will begin billing quarterly for RI and District dues and lunches.  We will track attendance beginning July 6 as well.  Should you have questions or concerns please contact Chris Helt or President-elect Brandon Gething.
Liz Johnides and her staff at The Markets at Hanover have been very accommodating in order to provide a great venue for us to meet.  We feel we are ready to offer a safe experience for our members to return to enjoy the fellowship aspect that so many of us have missed during the past year.  More and more of our members are returning in-person, HOW ABOUT YOU?

Information about in-person meetings beginning July 6, 2021 include:

Location:  The Markets at Hanover  1649 Broadway   Hanover, Pa 17331  In the ballroom.  Enter via the front doors and the ballroom is immediately on your right.  Look for the Rotary banner on the registration table to sign in.

Parking: There is plenty of parking directly in front of the main entrance.  No steps to negotiate to enter!

Lunch:  we will offer a lunch each week, no advance reservations will be required.

Safety:  Recently our Rotary District posted updated guidelines to Clubs to consider.  Chief among those are that if persons are fully vaccinated then it would be OK for them to attend without masks.  We need to recognize and respect that various members may continue to wear masks if they so chose even if they are vaccinated.  We need to be understanding and respectful of each other's situations and feelings on the mask issue. The updated guidelines recommended that if we have events open to the public we should require that masks be worn.

Other safety issues continue to be in effect at The Markets.  Since the Markets are closed on Tuesdays, we are the only ones using the facility.  There are hand sanitizing stations on site.  Tables are spaced 6' plus apart with only 4 - 6 seats to a table.  The facility is cleaned prior to each use.  Lunches are boxed and placed on a serving table to be picked up by each individual.  This method of food distribution also is expected to change to a buffet style as COVID restrictions ease.  Safe distances are maintained with no handshaking, no hugging, and no lines to wait to sign-in.  Also we are not singing(which actually might be a blessing-sorry Walt).

Your Board wants you to know that when you feel ready to attend, we are ready for you!!

We are trying to return to normal operation as State and Federal guidelines warrant in a manner that is safe for our members.
