Owner, Handsome Cab and McAllister's on York
Aug. 24, 2021
Robert Godfrey Jr has worked in healthcare for over 20 years assisting clients with their electronic medical record systems across The United Sates. Robert saw the need for a casual upscale wine bar and restaurant in York as revitalization was happening in the downtown business district. Seven years ago, he opened The Handsome Cab in January of 2016 with his partner Andrew D’Agenais. This allows Robert to utilize his love of wine and travel and marry them with great food in an urban atmosphere. Robert is currently working on opening McAllister’s on York at 11 York Street in the McAllister Hotel with partners Andrew D’Agenais and Jordan Ilyes. It will be like The Handsome Cab, although beer will be on tap, and they will continue their tradition of great wine, food, and cocktails. You won’t want to miss the rooftop bar called Bar E11even. It will be more casual with televisions and can be rented out for private events. |

Thank you once again for your support of Operation Braveheart. Our volunteer pediatric interventional cardiologist, Dr. Jonas del Rosario is the keynote speaker in a webinar sponsored by the Association of Philippine Physicians in Maryland (APPM) and the Baltimore-Washington DC Chapter of UPMASA.
He was supposed to visit the Rotary Club of Hanover last year but the Covid pandemic stopped him from traveling. So, this is the next best thing for you to meet him and listen to what he has to say about Braveheart. The meeting is scheduled this coming weekend, October 16 at 8 PM (Eastern Standard Time) which is October 17 at 8 AM (Philippine Standard Time). Everyone is invited.
