Gettysburg Rotary Club is hosting a Lobster Dinner benefitting their community fund. The event is sponsored by Adams Electric Cooperative, Inc. The event includes dinner, silent auction, fish bowl raffles and 50/50 drawings. Dinner features whole lobster, steamed shrimp,corn on cob, cole slaw, dessert and drink. BYOB. There is a children’s menu available. There is a “TO GO” OPTION too. Tickets are $40/adult and $10/children under 10. Tickets available from Gettysburg Rotarians, Gburg Times, or online at eventbrite.com. Must purchase by April 27; no tickets sold at door. |

National Night Out Day is held annually on the first Tuesday in August. It is a community police awareness raising event in the United States. National Night Out was created to increase increase awareness about police programs in communities. Kids and adults will have a chance to meet and interact with police officers, police canines, firefighters, EMT’, dispatchers, members of the York County Quick Response Team, and local business venders, and non-profits. The event will be held on Tuesday Aug 7, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Target, 31 Wilson Ave Hanover, Pa. We have a carnival game that we used in the past and prizes for the kids in the storage unit so all we need is you and your smiling faces.
