The long anticipated and exceptionally popular trip to the United Nations will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2015.  There are only two, private organizations which have consultative status at the UN, and Rotary International is one of them.  It's amazing how influential our organization is.
 
 
 
 
 
 

United Nations Day - November 7, 2015

There are 2 separate registrations for the trip. Here are the details:

 
1. Register for admission into the UN building at www.riunday.org. There are 3 different registration options. They are:​
  • Interact Club Members & Advisors (this is the ONLY youth program) - $30 per person
  • Ambassadorial Scholars, Peace Scholars & Rotaract - $40 per person
  • Rotary Club Members & Guests - $50 per person
 
​​2. The District has chartered an Executive Coach for the day. If you wish to ride the bus to and from the UN building, you will need to register by clicking here - $45 per person (You may pay by credit card or check)
 
There will be 2 pick-up locations for the bus. Please arrive 15 minutes early so the bus can leave on time! There will be no stop on the way to the UN building in the morning. Please feel free to bring along coffee and snacks for the trip. A fast-food dinner stop will be made on the way home. You will return back to the pick-up locations around 8:30 p.m. and 9:15 p.m.
  • Pick-up #1 - Byrnes Health Education Center (515 S. George St, York) – 4:30 a.m.
  • Pick-Up #2 - Radisson Hotel Harrisburg (1150 Camp Hill Bypass, Camp Hill) – 5:00 a.m. (Please park at the top of the parking lot near Perkins Restaurant)
 
PLEASE REGISTER EARLY FOR BOTH THE BUS & THE UN! The UN tickets sell out every year! If we do not have enough people registered for the bus by October 1st we will need to cancel the bus!
